Butterfly Training

Feelings Matter Most is the moto at Dementia Care Matters, a research and training organisation associated with the University of Surrey and in March, Church Farm will be hosting training for 15 staff (a further 15 have already received training). This training will teach basic techniques which staff can adopt to improve the living experience of people with dementia. The training will help Church Farm move closer to becoming a Butterfly Project Home, a honourable status in Dementia circles - there are only a handful of homes nationwide registered as a Butterfly Project Home, and we hope to be one of the first in the Midlands to achieve this status.
