Stimulation, engagement and enjoyment.
Our residents enjoy being part of the community, with regular walks to the local park and shops. The Chiropodist, Aromatherapist and Hairdresser visit regularly, we have an entertainer once a week and organised trips throughout the year, including boat trips to nearby Newark. Outings to Twycross Zoo and Southwell Minster. Friends and relatives are more than welcome to join us at any time. The activities team organise regular baking days where residents are invited to bake cakes. Arts and crafts days and cheese and wine tasting. We also have a Nindendo Wii with many games including 10 pin bowling.
We can provide transport for people having difficulty visiting, given some prior notice, at no charge. Relatives and friends are always welcome to stay for mealtimes.
