Church Farm Nursing Home, Cotgrave
Church Farm Nursing Home have been in business for over 23 years. We take great pride in the personal care we give to our residents and our main aim is to make their stay with us as comfortable and as stress free as possible.
John Spollin (Director / Manager)
Our manager is John Spollin, He is also Patrick's Brother-In-Law. John is an RGN/RMN who has been in charge for nearly 12 years. Previously, John worked as Care Home Manager in Stockport and in the NHS at Tameside. He trained at Prestwich Salford School of Nursing and at Sheffield Trent. He is married with three children and supports probably the best football team in the worlds - Stockport County Football Club.
John says "Although we are quite often dealing with a difficult and testing illness for residents and families our aim at Church Farm Nursing Home is to be positive in what quality of life and achievement people can still be involved in. It is essential that residents are well cared for with all aspects of physical health but also social, emotional and spiritual health. To assist with this we need where possible to involve family and friends."
Patrick Atkinson (Director)
I took over ownership of Church Farm Nursing Home in November 2005. I am a local family man who has been married to Lucy for the past 6 years. We have two young boys who although are very tiring, are everything to us. I have been involved in business locally for the past fifteen years and hope to bring some of my experience and expertise to Church Farm. I am delighted to be part of the team at Church Farm and I am very keen to help strive for the level of excellence that is required. I am regularly at Church Farm and I'm always available if I am needed. |
